The holiday season often brings with it the hope of a better and brighter tomorrow. This is especially true in 2020, which has been one of the worst years in recorded history.
The COVID-19 pandemic has shattered everything we once took for granted. Whether it’s going out for dinner and a movie, gathering with family and friends, or enjoying a live football game, nothing is what it once was. As the calendar inches closer to 2021, there’s legitimate hope that help is finally on the way and that a return to normalcy is on the horizon. But we’re not there yet, and little things like the Bears’ team photo are a reminder of how crazy the year has been.
Social distancing has long been touted as the primary weapon against the spread of COVID-19. Obviously, social distancing is impossible for the traditional team photo. So the Bears got creative, and pretty artsy, with their 2020 picture:
