Listed at 6-0 and 203 pounds, Williamson is a physical safety who can pop ball carriers. His career highlight came in Stanford’s win against Notre Dame where he forced a fumble late in the game to help seal the victory.
Williamson spent five seasons with the Cardinal, playing an extra year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He totaled 50 tackles in 2022 (2.5 for a loss) and had one interception to go with three pass breakups. He joins a safety group that features Eddie Jackson, Jaquan Brisker, and Elijah Hicks. He’s the only safety the Bears added in this year’s draft.
