The Chicago Bears upgraded at the safety position with the selection of Jaquan Brisker in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft.
Brisker, a hard-hitting safety out of Penn State, is expected to start immediately at strong safety opposite Eddie Jackson. He’ll join fellow second-round rookie cornerback Kyler Gordon as two rookies who will contribute immediately as starters.
Brisker has wasted no time hitting the practice field in preparation for his rookie season, where he’s been training with a three-time Defensive Player of the Year — Los Angeles Rams defensive end Aaron Donald.
Here’s video of Brisker and Donald getting some work in:

The Bears held their rookie minicamp last weekend, where Brisker and his fellow rookies gathered for three days of practices. Now, he joins his fellow veterans for the first time as Chicago is in the midst of their first Organized Team Activities (OTAs) practices ahead of veteran minicamp in mid-June.
