The Chicago Bears (1-1) will host the Houston Texans (0-1-1) this Sunday, where Chicago will be looking to rebound following a brutal loss to the Green Bay Packers (1-1) in Week 2.
Despite the Bears coming off that loss, oddsmakers are feeling good about Chicago’s chances of taking care of business at home.
The Bears have opened as 2.5-point home favorites against the Texans in Week 3, according to Tipico Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 40.5.
Both Chicago and Houston are coming off disappointing losses in Week 2, and the Texans remain winless through the first couple of games. These are two bad teams playing each other, and the Bears have a chance to follow up a disappointing loss with a victory.
This is the first time this season that the Bears are favorites, as they were underdogs at home against the San Francisco 49ers and on the road against the Packers.
