It didn’t take long for former Tennessee Titans offensive line coach Jason Houghtaling to find a new job after being let go.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Chicago Bears are hiring Houghtaling as their assistant offensive line coach.
Houghtaling was first hired by the Titans in 2021 as an assistant offensive line coach. He spent two years in that role before being promoted in 2023.
The Titans sported one of the worst offensive lines in the sport under his watch, but Houghtaling was also dealt a bad hand with the unit seriously lacking talent.
While Houghtaling has found a new job, the Titans have yet to find his replacement. However, Tennessee could land one of two very prominent coaches to fill the void.
Head coach Brian Callahan’s dad, Bill Callahan, might be an option if he’s able to leave the Cleveland Browns, and former Titans head coach and offensive line coach Mike Munchak is open to returning.
