The Chicago Bears will be without defensive tackle Akiem Hicks on Sunday night when they host the Kansas City Chiefs in the regular-season home finale.
After a full week of practice, Hicks was designated as questionable following Friday’s practice. On Saturday night, the Bears downgraded Hicks to out.

Hicks was activated from injured reserve ahead of Week 15’s game against the Green Bay Packers, where he re-aggravated his elbow injury.
While Hicks expressed his desire to play in the final two games, the Bears are making a smart decision to rest him. After the Bears were eliminated from playoff contention, there’s nothing left to play for. Chicago would be smart to rest Hicks in these final two games.
