The Chicago Bears are in the midst of trimming their roster to 53 players, where general manager Ryan Poles has some difficult decisions to make ahead of Tuesday’s deadline at 3 p.m. CT.
There have already been some surprise cuts, including quarterback P.J. Walker and offensive lineman Alex Leatherwood. Chicago also traded a 2024 sixth-round pick to the Miami Dolphins for veteran guard Dan Feeney, who adds depth and experience along the offensive line.
Following the Feeney trade — along with initial official and reported cuts — here is my final (I swear) projection for the Bears’ 53-man roster:
