Basketball blue bloods make history early in college football season

The UNC football program made some history along with Duke, Kansas, and Kentucky to start the 2022 college football season.

When you think of North Carolina, Duke, Kansas, and Kentucky, you think of the success those schools have had on the basketball court over the years.

The four programs are the best in college basketball history and prove it each and every year. But now those programs are proving it on the football field as well.

For the fist time ever, North Carolina, Duke, Kansas and Kentucky have each started the college football season at 3-0. That was accomplished Saturday with the Wildcats, Jayhawks and Blue Devils all winning, joining the Tar Heels who were on a bye week but already 3-0.

Look, we aren’t ready to call them the Blue Bloods of college football anytime soon but this is a pretty cool fact, especially with how bad Kansas has been as of recent.

Let’s see if they can keep it up and improve to 4-0 next week.
