There’s an answer to the question, “what happens to Dez Bryant?” It is, in full, “who cares?” Bryant is a 30-year-old receiver who’s had diminishing returns since his All-Pro season in 2014. If he refuses to take a pay cut (as is his right), Dez should get released. He’ll likely win the game of chicken though, as Dallas didn’t address its receiving need in free agency (or any need – the team has yet to sign a player from another team). Perhaps they’ll go that way in the draft.
