Caleb Williams displayed savvy and calm beyond his freshman status on Saturday against Kansas for Oklahoma.
The quarterback ran 40 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 4th-and-3.
For an encore, he stole the ball from teammate Kennedy Brooks on a fourth-down play.
Instead of the ball going over to the Jayhawks, who had the running back stopped on the play, Williams snatched the ball and took off .. for a first down.

The play enabled the Sooners to continue their drive and they wound up scoring a touchdown — Brooks on a short run — that iced the 35-23 victory.
Remember the play in the first half when a KU RB was stopped cold for couple seconds and then was pushed forward for a first down? Forward progress whistles have been consistent in this game. https://t.co/pWvPA4f4d7

Great play by Williams but man OU lucked out not having this play being whistled dead for forward progress being stopped. Would have given Kansas the ball at midfield down 5 late in the 4th quarter. Brooks had been driven back 3-4 yards and no whistle! pic.twitter.com/Cq7igHMFYw
