Baker Mayfield posts hype video before Chiefs game

Mayfield’s video shows his continued doubters, some highlights and @espngreeny support:

The Cleveland Browns have been looking forward to Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs since the game was placed on the schedule.

Browns fans have been looking forward to Week 1 since the same time and are excited about the entirety of the 2021 season coming up.

The team has done a lot to make fans believe. A winning record, playoff appearance and playoff victory in 2020 was built upon with a great offseason of continuity on offense, defensive additions galore and the return to health of some key players.

This Sunday morning, quarterback Baker Mayfield tweeted out a simple tweet with a hype video attached:

Interesting that the video starts with the continued doubt coming from the national media (he’s keeping receipts) and ends with ESPN’s Mike Greenberg support of the former Heisman Trophy winner. In between is a quick snippet of just a few of Mayfield’s highlights, of which the team and fans hope many more are added in 2021.

As of 9:41 AM Eastern Standard Time, it seems Baker Mayfield is ready to go now he (and the fans) just have to wait just under seven hours to show it on the field.
