The Wisconsin men’s basketball team has been in contact with three-star class of 2024 power forward Dillon Battie. The 6-foot-8 athlete from Lancaster, Texas still has one more season of high school basketball before he’d potentially make the leap to the collegiate level.
Battie has received seven Division 1 offers and Wisconsin could be set to join teams like Mississippi State, Texas A&M and Texas Tech in offering him. Typically, the Badgers find most of their recruiting success in the Midwest, namely the state of Minnesota, so it’s nice to see Greg Gard and his staff widen their net.
So far for the class of 2024, Wisconsin has received the commitment of three-star forward Jack Robison from Lakeville, Minnesota.
Greg Gard and the Wisconsin #Badgers have recently been in contact with 2024 three-star power forward Dillon Battie, @Badger_Notes has learned.
At 6-foot-8, Battie is a plus athlete with a high motor, smooth low post game, and a strong finisher around the rim.
