Back when the NBA released its plans for the bubble city at Walt Disney World in Orlando, the Los Angeles Lakers were among the title contenders assigned to the top-tier Gran Destino Resort on the Disney campus.
But in the week since the Lakers arrived at Orlando, we have yet to see any social media posts from LeBron James’ hotel room. Now-injured Lakers guard Rajon Rondo, for example, compared his room to a Motel 6. But not LeBron.
So, could LeBron actually be staying away from his team and in his own dedicated hotel? Rockets guard Austin Rivers jokingly said that was the case.
LeBron's crib in the bubble is HUGE.

In an Instagram Live tour of the NBA Bubble, Rivers was asked about LeBron’s hotel and he said:
“Y’all know ‘Bron ain’t staying where we staying, man. This is LeBron’s room right here. This whole thing.”
Rivers just chose the building closest to him for the joke, but we are still awaiting any post from LeBron’s hotel accommodations. Plus, the Rockets are staying at the Grand Floridian, which is pretty far away from the Lakers’ hotel. It makes sense that Rivers hasn’t seen LeBron.
TNT also reported that LeBron left his personal chef, masseuse and security detail at home in order to show unity with his teammates. So, with that in mind, it seems unlikely that LeBron would be OK with his own hotel.
