James Harden was one measly rebound away from getting a triple-double on Tuesday night when it looked like an easy one was coming his way in the final seconds of the Houston Rockets’ 125-110 win over the Charlotte Hornets.
But then his teammate, Austin Rivers, ran in and took the rebound away by accident.
Rivers found out about his mistake while running down the court and he was visibly upset with himself for robbing his teammate of getting the triple-double.
It was all pretty funny to see because it’s just a triple-double, but Rivers was really mad at himself for getting in the way of Harden:
Harden would have notched a triple-double if Austin Rivers didn't grab this last rebound…
Rivers immediately apologized 😅 pic.twitter.com/vGysVExfoq
