Auburn WR target Ny Carr announces commitment to ACC program

Atleast he won’t be playing for Georgia.

Auburn was one of the schools recruiting four-star wide receiver [autotag]Ny Carr[/autotag] the hardest but the Tigers were unable to land the former Georgia Bulldog commit.

Carr will instead be taking his talents to Miami to play for Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes he announced Sunday on social media.

He is the No. 53 overall player and No. 11 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite ranking. He is also the No. 9 player from Georgia.

The Moultrie, Georgia native committed to the Bulldogs back in July 2022 but Auburn never stopped recruiting him and he took multiple visits to the Plains before decommitting on Sept. 24. He returned to Auburn on Sept. 30 to watch Auburn play Georgia and it looked like they were in a great place to land him.

That didn’t happen as the 5-foot-11, 168-pounder then made a visit to Miami this past weekend and committed to them over Auburn and others.

While Auburn certainly wanted to land Carr, they have already built an impressive wide receiver class that includes five-star [autotag]Perry Thompson[/autotag] and four-star prospects [autotag]Bryce Cain[/autotag] and [autotag]Malcolm Simmons[/autotag].
