Auburn stays put in ESPN’s latest NCAA Bracketology

Auburn is still set to be an impressive seed in the NCAA Tournament.

After Auburn suffered its first loss of the season the Tigers took a couple of dips in the polls. They slipped just four spots to No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches Poll but fell eight spots to No. 19 in the latest AP Poll.

However, the 8-1 Tigers did not move at all in Joe Lunardi’s most recent bracket prediction for the 2023 NCAA Tournament, staying put as a five seed. He did change the Tiger’s opponent though, they are now set to face 12th-seeded Kent State.

After a great start to the season, Auburn’s defense was picked apart by Memphis Saturday. Giving up a season-high 82 points and getting dominated inside the paint.

They will have a chance to bounce back Wednesday when they host Georgia State inside Neville Arena. The game is set to start at 7 p.m. CT and will be on SEC Network+.
