Auburn rises three spots in latest Associated Press Poll

Auburn is knocking on the door of the top 10.

The Auburn Tigers are continuing their steady climb up the Associated Press Poll.

The Tigers received 905 points in the latest AP Poll, good enough to be ranked No. 13 in the country. The jump comes after the Tigers beat Texas A&M and LSU by double figures last week to improve to 14-2 overall and 3-0 in SEC play.

The Tigers are one of four SEC teams to be ranked in the poll, with both No. 6 Tennessee and No. 8 Kentucky cracking the top 10. No. 21 Ole Miss is the final SEC team to be ranked with Alabama, Mississippi State and South Carolina all receiving votes.

Auburn will return to action on Wednesday when they head to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt. They will wrap up the week on Saturday when they host Ole Miss in Neville Arena.
