Auburn receives votes in initial AP Poll of 2024 season

The Tigers will begin the season just on the outside of the debut poll.

The initial Associated Press poll of 2024 has been released, and Auburn is on the outside looking in.

Auburn received votes in the preseason US LBM Coaches Poll released last week and will begin their season with similar results in the AP Poll. The Tigers will debut in the “receiving votes” category after grabbing two votes from Associated Press voters.

Auburn is one of 11 teams to represent the SEC in the preseason poll. Kentucky joins Auburn in the portion of the receiving votes while Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Ole Miss, Missouri, LSU, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M begin the year in the top 25.
