Auburn offers Southern Miss OL transfer Gerquan Scott

He has spent the past five seasons at Southern Miss and started 32 games at left guard.

Transfer portal season is here and Auburn jumped into the mix on Monday by extending an offer to former Southern Miss offensive lineman [autotag]Gerquan Scott[/autotag], who was a three-year starter for the Golden Eagles.

Scott is from Mobile, Alabama, and was a three-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting class. After redshirting in 2019, he started 40 straight games with 32 at left guard, four at right guard and two at center.

Scott has also picked up offers from Ole Miss, South Carolina, Colorado and Vanderbilt.

Auburn will lose starting left guard Gunner Britton, center Avery Jones, right guard Kam Stutts and reserve lineman Jalil Irvin after the season when their eligibility expires.
