Auburn has been on a mission since the transfer portal officially opened on Monday morning.
Auburn’s most recent offer has been extended to Arkansas linebacker [autotag]Chris Paul Jr[/autotag]. Paul, a native of Cordele, Georgia, was named to the All-SEC Freshman team in 2022 and was a part of the Butkus Award watchlist ahead of the 2023 season.
Paul burst onto the scene last season by recording 62 total tackles with eight going for a loss. He followed that up by recording 74 stops in 2023 with 6.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. His total tackles were second highest for the Razorbacks this season, trailing just Jaheim Thomas’ 90 stops.
According to Pro Football Focus, Paul recorded 11 total pressures and missed just six tackles in 514 snaps.
At the time of this post, Paul is the fourth player from the transfer portal to earn an offer from Auburn on Monday. Stay up-to-date on Auburn’s transfer portal departures by checking out Auburn Wire’s transfer portal tracker.
