The transfer portal is going to be crazy this offseason.
So many talented players will be leaving the schools where they established themselves and looking for a fresh start or a championship run.
Auburn can probably only promise one of those as the team looks to be getting its feet up under them after going 6-6 in their first season under Bryan Harsin.
But you still have to swing for the fences and try to bring in one of the most talented wide receivers that will play in the 2022 season.
Oklahoma Sooners wide receiver Jadon Haselwood has entered the transfer portal. There are several places that he could go that make a ton of sense.
He could go to USC and follow Lincoln Riley. He may want to pair up with a top quarterback to help raise his draft stock. Or he may want a fresh start in a place where he can be a key part of the offense.
Harsin and his coaching staff will be able to go to top receivers like Haselwood and show them tape from Auburn’s offense down the main stretch of SEC play and explain the need and urgency of adding a talented wide receiver to this offense that can attack the outside of the field.
It’s a long shot, but Harsin and staff have to make the call.
