Auburn legendary coach Pat Dye dead at age 80

Legendary Auburn football coach Pat Dye passes away at the age of 80, the Montgomery Advertiser reported.
As the Tigers coach from 1981-91, Dye won four SEC championships (1983, 87, 88, 89) and posted a 99-39-4 record during that time.
Dye is most famous for stopping Alabama’s nine-game winning streak over Auburn in 1982 with “Bo Over the Top.”.
