Auburn LB Chandler Wooten to return for 2021

Auburn linebacker Chandler Wooten will be back for the 2021 season after deciding to opt out of this past campaign.

Auburn’s linebacker corps is going to be loaded next season.

On Tuesday, Chandler Wooten announced that he will return to the Tigers for the 2021 campaign after opting out of this past season.

As a junior in 2019, Wooten recorded 27 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss and one interception. He will rejoin Owen Pappoe and Zakoby McClain as veterans for the Tigers’ defense in Derek Mason’s first year as coordinator.
