Even though [autotag]Bruce Pearl[/autotag] and his Auburn basketball squad are halfway around the globe, their focus tonight will be on Napa Valley, California, and four-star guard [autotag]Aden Holloway[/autotag].
Holloway, the No. 39 overall prospect for the 2023 recruiting cycle, is set to announce his commitment on Monday night, where he will choose between two SEC programs in Auburn and Tennessee.
Holloway visited Auburn officially on Jan. 31, three days after Auburn extended an offer. In a recent interview with Jeffrey Lee of Auburn Live, Holloway says that he appreciates everything that Auburn has to offer.
“Auburn is a great place to be as a person,” Holloway said. “Yes, it’s a big basketball school, but it’s also a great place to live your life. You have to have stability around you that’s not basketball, and I feel like it’s a great place for that. It’s a great family atmosphere and I can get better. Plus the staff is amazing.”
Holloway is set to announce his commitment at 7 p.m. CDT on Monday, August 1. According to On3 and 247Sports, he is expected to commit to Auburn.
