Auburn is one of four programs standing out to 2025 LB Jayden Sheldon

The three-star linebacker wants to learn more about Auburn.

It is still early in his recruitment, but Auburn is one of four programs standing out to 2025 three-star linebacker [autotag]Jayden Shelton[/autotag].

Shelton is from Dallas, Texas, and already has over 20 offers from programs across the country but there is a group of programs that are standing out from the rest he revealed to Mike Roach of 247Sports.

That group is made up of LSU, Auburn, Washington and USC.

Auburn linebackers coach [autotag]Josh Aldridge[/autotag] extended him and offer on May 10 and while he admitted they haven’t talked as much as the other three, Shelton would like to learn more about the Tigers.

“Auburn is in there,” he said. “We haven’t really talked as much, but I feel like I can see myself there.”

Shelton is the No. 415 overall player and No. 42 linebacker in the 247Sports composite ranking. He is also the No. 62 player from Texas.

He is having another great season for South Oak Cliff and is looking to lead them to their third straight state championship. He leads them with 54 tackles and has also made 7.0 tackles for loss and one sack.
