Auburn basketball opens up the Vivid Seats Legends Classic at Barclays Center on Thursday night against a Power-Six opponent, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The game is expected to be a blowout by betting standards, as FanDuel lists the Tigers as a 14.5-point favorite ahead of the game. ESPN analytics agrees with FanDuel’s logic, as they are giving Auburn an 88.0% chance to beat the Fighting Irish on Thursday.
The Tigers dominate nearly every category in comparison to the Fighting Irish, as Auburn leads in points per game, rebounds per game, assists per game, blocks per game, and steals per game. Notre Dame has an upper hand in field goal percentage, as they shoot 44% compared to Auburn’s 43%.
Auburn faces Notre Dame on Thursday at 8 p.m. CT. The broadcast of the game can be seen on ESPN 2. Depending on the outcome of Thursday’s game, Auburn will face either Oklahoma State or St. Bonaventure on Friday at either 3:30 p.m. or 6 p.m. CT.
