Auburn goes voteless for third straight week in AP poll

The Tigers are in danger of ending the season unranked.

With just one week left in the regular season, Auburn is nowhere to be found in the latest AP poll.

The Tigers have not received a vote in any of the three most recent additions of the poll and will be hard-pressed to climb into the rankings before the end of the regular season.

Their two remaining games are against No. 2 Alabama and No. 12 Tennessee, two teams that have already beaten Auburn.

The Tigers opened last week with a hard-fought win over the Ole Miss Rebels and looked like they could find a way to sneak into the rankings if they could pull off the upset over Kentucky.

That did not happen as the Wildcats dominated them 86-54 in Rupp Arena. Auburn fell to 19-10 overall and 9-7 in the SEC with the loss and is in serious jeopardy of missing the NCAA Tournament if they do not pick up a win against Alabama and Tennessee or go on a run in the SEC Tournament.
