The Auburn Tigers will play Southern Miss at Jordan-Hare Stadium during the 2026 season.
FBSchedules.com reported the news. This matchup was supposed to be played in 2020 but SEC decided to just play 10 conference games due to adapting to COVID.
Auburn and Southern Miss have played 23 times. The Tigers maintain an 18-5 record and have won the last four contests between the two programs.
Southern Miss won the first-ever game in the series 19-13 in 1947 when the game was played in Montgomery, Alabama.
The Auburn Tigers also have the Baylor Bears as part of their non-conference schedule in 2026. It will be fun to see this schedule develop due to Texas and Oklahoma coming into the SEC.
