Auburn flips 2023 offensive line recruit

Connor Lew was previously committed to Miami.

Coach [autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag] has flipped another recruit his way.

Three-star interior offensive lineman [autotag]Connor Lew[/autotag] announced on Twitter on Tuesday that he intended to decommit from Miami and commit to Auburn. Lew’s flip comes after Freeze already persuaded other recruits to flip and pledge to come to The Plains in recent days.

Lew is a four-star on 247Sports’ rankings, but the composite has him as a three-star. Lew went after Auburn during his initial recruitment; his last visit was on June 17. He committed to the Miami Hurricanes on Aug. 5, but that didn’t stop Auburn from pursuing him. Lew took an unofficial visit to The Plains on Dec. 10 and committed three days later.

Lew hails from Acworth, Georgia, and is 247Sports’ 16th-rated interior offensive lineman. Lew played center in 2021 during his junior year and is likely to play that position at the college level. The Tigers have the No. 40 class in the nation for 2023 after Lew’s flip.
