Auburn falls in latest Amway Coaches Poll despite win

The Tigers pulled out a 30-28 victory over Arkansas on Saturday.

Auburn pulled out a hard-fought (and controversial) victory against Arkansas on Saturday night in Jordan-Hare Stadium with Anders Carlson nailing a field goal to give the Tigers a 30-28 victory.

The voters in the Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports weren’t impressed though as Gus Malzahn’s team fell in the latest poll as the Tigers are now No. 14, moving down a spot.

Clemson stays at No. 1 after a blowout 42-17 win against then-No. 7 Miami. Alabama, 63-48 victors against Ole Miss, stays at No. 2 while Georgia remains at No. 3.
