After a wildly successful performance in non-conference play, the No. 2 Auburn Tigers are ready to begin SEC play. Auburn kicks off the conference portion of its schedule on Saturday by hosting Missouri for a 3 p.m. CT tipoff.
Both Auburn and Missouri found success in non-conference play, as each squad will enter Saturday’s conference opener with more than 10 wins. Auburn boasts a 12-1 record, with its lone loss coming to No. 4 Duke during the ACC-SEC Challenge. After dropping its season opener to Memphis, Missouri won 11 of its final 12 non-conference games, which included an upset win over No. 7 Kansas.
Both teams score at least 87 points per game and connect on 50% of their field goal opportunities. In a game that could be as close as this one, it will be important for each team to have their key players available to play.
Will both teams be at full health on Saturday? Here is a look at Saturday’s injury report, courtesy of the Southeastern Conference.
