The No. 15 Auburn Tigers opened the season on Monday by earning a comfortable win over George Mason, 70-52.

Next on the docket is South Florida, who comes into the game with an 0-1 record after suffering a home loss to Southeast Missouri State on Monday, 64-61. The Bulls shot better from the field than Southeast Missouri State by 11%, but could not keep up with the Redhawks’ three-point shooting. Southeast Missouri State converted 10-of-26 shots from beyond the arc, as opposed to USF’s 4-of-19.
The matchup looks to be in favor of the Tigers says ESPN’s Basketball Power Index, which gives them a 92% chance to earn the victory.
Auburn checks in at No. 13 in the latest BPI standings, which is sixth-best in the SEC. As for the Bulls, they are No. 170 in Division I, and No. 9 in the American Athletic Conference BPI ranks.
