MADISON- Athlon Sports has released its fantasy outlook for Jonathon Taylor in his rookie season with the Indianapolis Colts.
Athlon believes that the workload that Taylor had in college would not have an impact on his NFL game, especially since he is paired with 1,000-yard rusher Marlon Mack in a running offense. Not only does the scheme lend to his fantasy outlook for the season, but he is running behind the number one offensive line in the NFL per Pro Football Focus. This stout offensive line is led by perennial All-Pro Quenton Nelson.

Athlon Sports predicts Taylor to rush for 1280 yards and 10 touchdowns, as well as to have 130 receiving yards this season. This is quite the prediction for the Salem, N.J. native in his rookie season, and with this stat line, he would be a top-five rusher last season in the NFL. Taylor would be behind only Derrick Henry, Nick Chubb, Christian McCaffrey, and Ezekial Elliot in rushing yards.
Jonathan Taylor blew our expectations out of the water in his time at Wisconsin, and I have no doubt that he will continue to do this at the next level. I’m extremely excited for the rest of the United States to see what we as Wisconsin fans have seen in Taylor’s play, greatness.
