At the least, there’s no prohibition or slow-walk on the NBA’s part. Sources indicated during All-Star Weekend that there are no restrictions on the league’s part for players who played in China this season, as long as they aren’t in cities or areas currently under quarantine in China. They are free to come stateside and sign with NBA teams. But that doesn’t mean they’re free contractually.
