If there’s been one thing that Jim Harbaugh has been good at, it’s been putting his players into the NFL. While not all of the former Michigan football players in the pro ranks are former Harbaugh acolytes, it got us thinking: what would an NFL team comprised solely of former Wolverines look like, if you were taking only players who are currently on NFL rosters?
Some positions are logjammed with talent, while others are pretty scarce. For instance: Michigan has had but one running back drafted since 2008, so the pickings are relatively slim. But, there are enough maize and blue representatives to compile an entire NFL team. With that in mind, what would it look like?
While we got a little creative with some of the rotations, particularly on defense, this would be a team that could contend with anybody. Here’s what we came up with.
