Ladd (9-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) is coming off a torn ACL that put her out of action for more than a year. The 26-year-old hasn’t competed since December 2019 when she stopped Yana Kunitskaya by third-round TKO. Prior to that, Ladd had suffered her first professional defeat to former UFC champion Germaine de Randamie.
Meanwhile, Chiasson (7-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) recently competed, outpointing veteran Marion Reneau last month at UFC on ESPN 21. Chiasson is currently on a two-fight winning streak, bouncing back from her first pro loss in 2019 to Lina Lansberg.
