According to the NFL, the plan is for rookies to report to NFL training camp on July 21. The two sides are still trying to come to some consensus about safety protocols but as with most of these situations, the two sides will find some level of middle ground at the last possible moment.
But until then, there is another concern for the Pittsburgh Steelers. They have yet to sign a single player from their 2020 NFL draft class to a contract. If they don’t have them signed by July 21, they will not be showing up to training camp, regardless of the other situations with COVID-19 and safety.
Here is the rundown of the Steelers 2020 draft class.

The Steelers are counting on players like wide receiver Chase Claypool and edge rusher Alex Highsmith to provide quality depth at those positions while they prepare to be the answer down the road.
I look for a rush of signing announcements in the next 24 hours as the Steelers front office never likes to start the season with unfinished business even under such unusual circumstances.
