The Premier League is back. Finally.
And while there are still many concerns about the health and safety of the players, and who knows if they’ll be able to play this season out without a COVID-19 outbreak among a team or teams, for now … we have soccer.
We’ll have two games on Wednesday afternoon, but the headliner is Arsenal vs. Manchester City. City currently sit comfortably in second, but will need a total collapse from Liverpool to make a run at the title.
Also making the game interesting: City is waiting to hear on an appeal for their Champions League ban after getting punished for violating Financial Fair Play rules. If they lose the appeal, Arsenal could sneak into the Champions League with a fifth place finish. (They currently sit ninth, but are only five points in the table off fifth.)
So we’ve got some stakes. Here’s everything you need to know, including how to watch the match without artificial crowd noise.
