The first-round of the 2021 Arnold Palmer Invitational has concluded from Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Florida.

Knoxville’s Peter Malnati (-2) is four strokes behind the leaders after opening round play. His tee time for Friday is at 1:19 p.m. EST from hole No. 1.

Rory McIlroy and Corey Conners (-6) share first-place heading into Friday’s second-round play.

Malnati resides in Knoxville and played collegiately at Missouri from 2007-10.

He joined the PGA Tour in 2014 and has one career victory, winning the 2016 Sanderson Farms Championship.

Entering the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Malnati has finished in the top-25 26 times, has seven top-10 finishes and has one second-place result. He has participated in 167 career PGA Tour events, while making the cut 83 times.
