Arnold Palmer Cup: Meet the United States, International teams

Meet the United States and International teams set to compete at the 2020 Arnold Palmer Cup at Bay Hill in Orlando.

The teams have been formed for the 2020 Arnold Palmer Cup. Now it’s time to play.

On Tuesday, USC senior Alyaa Abdulghany was announced as the latest player to compete in the annual Ryder Cup-style competition featuring the world’s best men’s and women’s collegiate golfers. Abdulghany, the first Malaysian-born player to compete in the Arnold Palmer Cup, will join fellow Trojan Gabriela Ruffels on the International Team against a team of players from the United States Dec. 21-23 at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando.

“I’m very excited,” said Abdulghany of being announced as a member of the International team. “Since I got the news a little more then a week ago, all I’ve thought about is the Arnold Palmer Cup. It’s a blessing and honor to play, especially during the pandemic. I have the chance to play on a team and compete in a fun and pressure-packed environment. I can’t wait for the tournament to start.”

The United States leads the series 12-10-1.

Check out the players and coaches who will represent both the Team USA and the Internationals.
