Armando Bacot’s brother, King Bacot, earns first offer

Armando Bacot’s brother King Bacot has earned his first offer in his recruitment.

Armando Bacot spent five seasons at North Carolina after committing as a five-star prospect in the 2019 class. Bacot left his legacy with the program, leading as the all-time leading rebounder and second among the all-time leading scorers.

While Bacot is officially out of eligibility for his career, his family legacy may not be done just yet. Bacot’s brother, King Bacot, is a prospect in the 2029 class. He has a long way to go before he has to make a decision in what college he would like to attend but the spotlight is slowly getting on him due to who his brother is.

On Wednesday, Bacot earned his first offer in his recruitment as VCU officially extended an offer to him. Being a Virginia native, it makes sense for VCU to get involved.

The Rams were also involved in Armando’s recruitment, offering him as well before he eventually committed to North Carolina.

As mentioned above, it’s still VERY early in this process but it’s easy to connect UNC to King Bacot. With King already being on UNC’s campus and around the program with his brother there, he has a sense of what to expect.

The hope is that his brother’s love for UNC spills over but we need to remember that they are their own individual and anything can happen in recruitments.
