Redemption is on the minds of the North Carolina Tar Heels after missing out on the 2023 NCAA Tournament last season. For Armando Bacot and R.J. Davis, they have seen the highs and lows in their careers with the Tar Heels and as we get ready for the 2023-24 season ina. few months, they are hoping to get back to the big dance.
Bacot is returning for his fifth and final season and is coming off another big year. But he’s looking to get even better and this offseason, he’s putting in the work.
The big man has been working out with NBA trainer Chris Brickley who has trained several players before including Cole Anthony, Paolo Banchero, and recent draft picks Ausar and Amen Thompson. He’s even worked with both Ian Jackson and Elliot Cadeau.

Bacot will enter this season as one of the favorites to win the ACC Player of the Year, falling short of that last season.
If the Tar Heels want to reach the NCAA Tournament again and go on a big run they are going to need Bacot to play well once again. And potentially even carry them.
