Ole Miss can score points and score them in a hurry.
Even though the Rebels suffered their first loss on Saturday like Arkansas did, they were still able to put up 21 against Alabama and can move the the ball in a hurry.
The key is going to be limiting Matt Corral. Obviously the Razorbacks had success doing that a year ago, picking him off six times, but counting on a repeat performance is probably not a viable strategy.
Corral has thrown a touchdown pass in 16 straight games, tied for the second-longest streak in school history (Eli Manning, 16). He trails only Chad Kelly, who had 22.
He has yet to throw an interception this year, and is also a threat to run the ball, leading the team with six touchdowns rushing.
Although the Rebels defense is not one of the stronger units in the Southeastern Conference, it is improving.
The Ole Miss defense has now forced at least one turnover in 18 of its last 20 games, and the 451 yards it gave up to the Crimson Tide on Saturday were the fewest it had allowed to them since 2014.
Arkansas will be looking for its first win in Oxford since 2017, when the Razorbacks came back from a 24-point deficit to defeat the Rebels 38-37 in Bret Bielema’s final SEC win with the team.
Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. on ESPN.
