No. 6 Arkansas (29-7, 11-4 SEC) defeated No. 12 Tennessee (23-13, 5-10 SEC), 7-2, Sunday at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The Razorbacks recorded a sweep in the series.
The Vols were 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position in the series finale. Arkansas scored six runs during the first three innings Sunday.
Drew Beam (4-2) pitched 1.2 innings, allowing six runs, four hits and four walks, while recording two strikeouts for Tennessee.
Tennessee scored both of its runs in the fourth inning. Jared Dickey hit a single, scoring Hunter Ensley and Zane Denton.
Chase Burns relieved Beam in the first inning and pitched 5.1 innings. He allowed one run, three hits and two walks, while recording five strikeouts.
Kavares Tears had two hits, including one double for the Vols. Christian Scott went 2-for-3 with one double and one walk for Tennessee.
