Arkansas Linebacker Parker to the Portal

Andrew Parker, the number four linebacker last season, will transfer from the program after this semester. He is the fourth Louisiana player to transfer, following Joe Foucha, Greg Brooks, and Devin Bush.

Another backup defensive player has entered the draft portal. Andrew Parker, the number four linebacker last season, will transfer from the program after this semester. He is the fourth Louisiana player to transfer, following Joe Foucha, Greg Brooks, and Devin Bush. Foucha and Brooks have both announced transfers to LSU, while Bush is going to Southern University of the FCS.

Parker has served as a backup since in enrolling at Arkansas, but he was expected to compete for a starting role next season after the loses of Grant Morgan and Hayden Henry. Bumper Pool is back, locking down one of the starting LB positions. Parker would have had to beat out incoming transfer Drew Sanders.

Per his Twitter announcement, Parker is on track to graduate this spring. He will be a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining.
