During Arkansas’ bye week, we here at Razorbacks Wire ranked the Hogs’ freshmen in a top five power order. We’re now here to say, officially: Our bad.
Arkansas freshman Cam Little was named SEC Specialist of the Week after his 3-for-3 game against LSU on Saturday. The perfection included the game-winning field goal in overtime, giving the Razorbacks their first win against LSU in Tiger Stadium since 2015. A week earlier, he was the Freshman of the Week for the entire league.
Again, sorry, Cam.
Little is second in the SEC with 17 field goal, only three behind the leader, Seth Small at Texas A&M. With four more field goals, Little will tie Zach Hocker for the second most makes in a single season. Arkansas has at least three games left for him to get to the mark.
The conference award is the third such for the Moore, Oklahoma, native, having previously earned Freshman of the Week twice before. By doing so, he became Arkansas’ first freshmen to capture the honor two times since Dre Greenlaw in 2015.
