Arkansas Razorback baseball is back this weekend with a three-game series against Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
This will be the Diamond Hogs’ last non-conference weekend series before SEC play next week. Louisiana Tech walks into Baum-Walker Stadium with eight wins. Their fresh off a weekend series sweep over Northwestern.
The Bulldogs have trailed 10 of the last 12 games, with four comeback wins after trailing 4-plus runs.
That could bring issues for the Hogs, who have played in close games against what looks to be formidable opponents on paper. But, unfortunately, baseball is not played on paper.
The Diamond Hogs lead the all-time series 27-7, but since 2016, the series has been tight, with Arkansas only holding a 5-4 lead. We should see some good baseball this weekend.
