Arkansas baseball preparing for tonight’s MLB Draft

Dave Van Horn is hoping that the draft doesn’t completely raid his top-ranked signing class over the next few evenings, as it begins tonight at 6 p.m. in Seattle.

Dave Van Horn signed one of the most impressive recruiting classes in school history last fall and this spring.

Tonight, Razorback fans will find out how many players on it will ultimately end up making it to campus.

The 2023 MLB Draft begins at 6 p.m. from Lumen Field in Seattle as part of MLB All-Star Game festivities.

Top infielder signees Aidan Miller and Walker Martin are the most likely candidates to be taken in the first round.

Van Horn and his staff will also monitor the current players on his roster as they are selected.

Jace Bohrofen, Jared Wegner and Tavian Josenberger, along with left-hander Hunter Hollan, are all draft-eligible players. Wegner is the only player with no collegiate eligibility remaining.
