Arkansas alum Isaiah Joe reacts to upset Sweet 16 win over Gonzaga

Philadelphia 76ers guard Isaiah Joe reacts to his alum, Arkansas, knocking off Gonzaga in the Sweet 16.

It’s March which means while the NBA is steaming toward the conclusion of their regular season and heading toward the playoffs, it’s also time for March Madness and the NCAA Tournament.

Philadephia 76ers second-year guard Isaiah Joe has a dog in the fight at the moment as his Arkansas Razorbacks are the No. 4 seed in the West region of the bracket. On Thursday night, Arkansas matched up with the overall No. 1 seed in the Gonzaga Bulldogs and it looked like a mismatch in favor of Gonzaga.

Instead, Arkansas was able to come up with a 74-68 win in the Sweet 16 led by 21 points from JD Notae. With his college team headed to the Elite 8, Joe took to Twitter to give his hyped reaction.

Joe’s Razorbacks will now wait for the winner of Texas Tech vs. Duke in their next contest on Saturday. The winner of that one will advance to the Final Four in New Orleans.
