The Sun Devils rebounded from a loss at BYU, topping Colorado 35-13 in the conference opener last weekend in Tempe, Ariz. After opening 0-3 ATS, Sparky was able to pick up the first cover of the season, too. The Over result was also its first in four tries.
The Bruins also rebounded from a loss, topping Stanford 35-24 on “The Farm” to cover a 3.5-point number. UCLA has hit the Over in two of three games at home, while covering in three of four games overall.

Money line
UCLA (-155) is worth playing on the money line if you like the Bruins and don’t want to fiddle around with the points.
The Bruins have won each of the past two in this series, including a 25-18 win in Tempe on Dec. 5, 2020 last season.
Against the spread
UCLA -2.5 (-125) is worth a play, but I like them on the money line a little better in what should be a very close game. The Bruins have dominated this series in recent seasons, at least against the number, going 4-0 ATS in the past four meetings, while covering seven of the past nine at home against Sparky.
Over/Under
OVER 56.5 (-108) is the best play on the board in this one. Yes, Arizona State has hit the Over just once in four tries, but it’s averaging 32.5 PPG in four outings.
UCLA has been strong offensively, going for 38.5 PPG, while managing 200.0 rushing yards per game with 434.3 total yards per outing. The Bruins are also coughing up 25.3 PPG, so you can expect a high-scoring affair.
